NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that Budget Workshop of the
Harris City Council will be held on Monday August 16th
6:30 p.m. and Monday August 23rd 6:30 p.m. at Harris
City Hall located at 43970 Ginger Avenue, Harris,
Minnesota.
The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the
proposed 2011 City Budget.

Notice of Filing for City Election
Notice is hereby given
that filing for Mayor and City Council will open
Tuesday, August 3rd 2010 at 8:00 a.m. and close
Tuesday, August 17th , 2010 at 5:00
p.m.
Offices to be Filled: One (1) Mayoral
position, which serves a two-year term and two (2)
Council member positions, which serve a four-year
term. All terms begin January 3, 2011
The
following criteria must be met for the mayor or
council seats. The candidate:

1) must be an eligible voter;
-
2) has no other affidavit on
file as a candidate for any
office at the general election;

3) is, or will be on assuming
office, 21 years of age or
more;
-
4) will have maintained
residence in the City of Harris
for 30 days before the election; and

must pay the
$2.00
filing fee
at the time of the filing.
The
Election for these City Offices will be held on
Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in the City of Harris,
County of Chisago, State of Minnesota between 7:00
a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
